While no confirmation of such an appearance has been given by Marvel or Cox, the notion of Daredevil joining the MCU has fans giddy with excitement. Rumors have been circling for almost a year now that Charlie Cox's iteration of the character will actually be appearing in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home. Though there was no announcement regarding the character for Disney+ Day, there's still a chance that Daredevil could show up in the MCU sooner rather than later. While there's no way to be certain, this outpouring of dissatisfaction over the lack of a Daredevil announcement is sure to have at least caught some eyes over there at the Disney and Marvel offices. Fans who had been hoping for an announcement took to Twitter to voice their disappointment, which resulted in the character trending for a period of time this afternoon. Sadly, however, Marvel's big Disney+ Day announcements came and went without any mention of Daredevil or any other characters previously seen in the Netflix series. A bunch of other new shows were officially unveiled as well, with teases for Echo, the WandaVision spin-off Agatha: House of Harkness, and several animated series such as Spider-Man: Freshman Year, season two of What If.?, Marvel Zombies, and a continuation of 1990's X-Men animated show titled X-Men '97. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk, while new logos were revealed for other previously announced shows like Ironheart and Secret Invasion.
